RATINGS WE OFFER
These are very basic, abbreviated requirements for each rating. All ratings will have training requirements on the ground as well as in flight, stage checks and exams, practical tests and a variety of prerequisites.
When you come in for your first lesson, whether just getting started or transferring from another school, you’ll need to bring either an unexpired U.S. Passport or your Birth Certificate AND Driver’s License. We are required to verify your U.S. citizenship for training and these are the easiest ways.
Private Pilot License
Learn to fly yourself and your family for pleasure in visual meteorological conditions in a single engine aircraft.
Instrument Rating
Learn to fly with reference solely to your instruments. Don't let those clouds stop you, but make good decisions about ceilings, icing and other precipitation, and convective activity.
Single Engine Commercial
You can now earn money flying an airplane. You'll finish your single engine rating with a little over 250 hours total time.
Multi Engine Commercial
You can add on a multi engine rating to either a private or commercial certificate. While your airplane has two engines, you'll spend most of this training with one of them shut down (both simulated and actual). Most clients take 5-10 hours in our DA42 to be ready for their multi engine check ride.
CFI/CFII
Share your knowledge of aviation. Generally a stepping stone to the next phase of your aviation career, you'll learn just as much instructing as your students do.
MEI
Multi-Engine Instructor adds multi-engine privileges to your current flight instructor certificate.
